Kode9 live, what does he play?
Kode9 live, what does he play?
I'm going to Outlook this year and was excited to see his name on the line up. Ideally, I want to see him in the dungeon playing Burial old or new.

I'd say a mix of house, Hyperdub stuff and he always squeezes in a few classics as well (old dmz, zomby or yes even the odd burial tune, I remember Fostercare and Archangel...).

Fantastic material you’ll never hear again except on Youtube
Re: Kode9 live, what does he play?
Seen him do a live set with Space Ape in the Bimhuis in Amsterdam which was an amazing set. Really dark and moody.geoff wrote:don't think he's Djin at Outlook, but looks like a live set with Spaceape which ive never seen.

Last time I saw him he didn't play anything that even the most broad minded fan out there would call dubstep.larspro wrote:dubstep

I saw him a couple weeks back @ Icee Hot in SF. XLR8R Party!
He kicked it off with "Regulate" by Warren G, perfect track to break the ice!
He quickly migrated into loads of UK FUNKY, he had hot dubplates from Funky Stepz and Ill Blu.
Not so much house, though he did drop Deep Inside!!!
Grime, Bangers, a taste of Dubstep, and of course he brought the house down with "WUT"
Towards the end of the night he got in the MALA zone 'Mountain Dread March' and 'Don't Let Me Go'
He toped it all off with a touch of Jungle, really bombastic Jungle tunes!
At the very end he played an unreleased track, someone asked "Who was that last track?"
He replied, "I could tell you, but I'd have to KILL YOU!"
