I'm quite pleased NME gave the album 6/10 for the fact it might deter lazy indie/hipsters who won't even bother listening.

This is a quality album though, may not be defining for him (compared with air and lack thereof etc), but it's very promising. Unluck, I Never Learn't to Share and Wilhelm Scream are particularly infectious, it's complex and minimal, great listening.

Theres plenty of hype around him at the moment, i hope people will appreciate this complexity, he's definitely not done a Magnetic man!

listened to the previews on itunes....only really half are doing it for me
i couldnt quite justify buying the whole album.
i'll give them all a listen on youtube, but if not i'll just be buying half of them as singles

I don't really get why everyone thinks this album is so great. I've listened to it about 20 times and I still don't think it's that very good save for 'i never learnt to share'. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for this, but I really wish he would learn to sing or shut up... His voice ruins every track, the beats are the only semi-interesting part.

The album is decent, not a future classic like some of the 12"'s, but what really bugs me is my vinyl is one of the worst pressings ive ever had. garbage. im tempted to send it to the label.

Personally I'd rather he get paid for it to be honest and not really care who does / doesn't like it

so I went out record shopping the other day (picked some HYP stuff up, priceless). They were pushing this thing really hard at Bilbo's (the local HMV I suppose). This thing is going to reach mainstream charts. In fact, The video clip already features on national TV here (as does Adele's rolling in the deep). It will all be about Limit To Your Love though, whereas I think that's probably the weakest thing along with Lindesfarne.

of course i want success for him and him to get paid, the man is a great talent, production and songwriting. All I'm saying is that theres some people out there that would jump on the hype wagon because a magazine says so, may not even purchase the music. Particularly some NME types (sorry if this seems like generalising, i read NME and love animal collective)

so i got told yesterday that they're planning to repress of all his ep's...(i don't know what that means for the colour CMYK vinyls) but for me this is great cos the only ep of his missing in my collection is air and lack thereof

Late getting in on this, but I got the album. It's ok. Really dig I mind though. That, and maybe half the album if that.

Did anyone here his cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You" on the Zane Lowe show? Mind blowing.
