[FEEDBACK] Mike Huber - Dubmystep (Filthy)

Post by Mike Huber » Tue Feb 15, 2011 9:28 pm

I know the lead bass synth needs to be cleared up a bit, and there are parts in the track where it sounds pretty cluttered. I'm mostly looking for feedback on how the track flows and how well it holds the listeners attention. I've been playing around with different sounds lately and came up with what I thought was a really dirty bassline. Feedback please :D

Nice Mike. I would give the track a 10 second break somewhere. Some low synths and minimal beat or no beat at all would be a good chance to "take a breath". Silence, especially on a track as busy as this one, can be just as powerful as punch-in-the-face bass.

I definitely agree. When I fix up the clutterness a bit I plan on lengthening the track so I'll put a break in there for sure. Thanks for the feedback ^_^

yeah the track is a bit cluttery and structure wise it doesn't really make sense to me mentally.

For sure. It's more of a rough idea for a track. I can't produce on my computer so I have to manage my time around when I can use someone else's. I plan on throwing a break in there somewhere as well as working on the actual synths themselves. I want to make the melodies a bit more dynamic as well. I have a lot of ideas for this one XD Just waiting to get some more time on a decent computer. Thanks for the feedback :)
