Re: Join the Dubstep Revolution....
But you're using the dubstep name to try and gain followers. It's not a dubstep revolution, it's nothing to do with the sound. Why couldn't you have 'Join the revolution'.
Join the filthly dubstep revolution
Join the pre-dubstep revolution
Join the future garage revolution
Join the drumstep revolution.

Join the mediocre pop-punk revolution
i'm sure you'll find many more even younger people, who'll sure be loving the idea of a revolution (yknow like in those music videos on mtv right?)

Re: Join the Dubstep Revolution....
In fact Jak I'm not gonna change it because dubstep is a movement i feel can strongly influence people and has a huge following...You can all take the piss but i'm going to stick to what i believe and and even if you don't like it doesn't mean other people won't. We all have the right to say what we want, so if people believe in what i do then feel free to join

Re: Join the Dubstep Revolution....
Ithink people would be more inclined to join in if there werent just usual buzz words like:- We are slaves to the rich, the government control us, we need to get the power back.dubsteprevolution wrote:Dubstep doesn't have to be part of it. I just thought it was a genre that I know well with a young following of people who would care enough and be energetic enough to join in under.
If somebody actual had a decent idea of how to do this, and it could actually work then you might catch peoples attention more. Not just ''fuck the system.....lets listen to some duurrrrrty beatzzzz''.

But it's always the same issues about how the country is run. The group is there for exactly this reason. for people to discuss their views, how they feel and how they want things to change.LA_Boxers wrote:Ithink people would be more inclined to join in if there werent just usual buzz words like:- We are slaves to the rich, the government control us, we need to get the power back.dubsteprevolution wrote:Dubstep doesn't have to be part of it. i would want companies to have to have even pay where directors and employees at all levels all have to be paid relative ammounts based on the companies profits where the director cant walk away with millions and those at the bottom are on 15,000 a year. i want commercial banks seperated from investment banks or people who keep their money in banks to be paid fair amounts back from the banks profits created by gambling on our money. i dont want us to be paying off a huge debt over our lifetimes, which was created by the country because our banks and corporation pay so little tax when they make so much money. i dont want the majority to struggle to buy food while a few bankers at the top walk away with millions. these things can be changed but in order for that we have to change the way government and powerful people actually think

You wont be able to change powerful peoples thinking. Its like saying to you "hey, you currently earn £1m a year, however dont you think thats unfair? You do? Ok well i believe everybody should be paid the same, so you will now earn £20k a year doing the same job you currently do which is the same amount as somebody who answers the phone or gives the post out."dubsteprevolution wrote:But it's always the same issues about how the country is run. @ Soiree
This is the problem with everything as I see it. everyone believes they cant change stuff cus its been like that for so long. things have been overhauled in the past, its happening now in north africa and theres no reason it cant happen in the rest of the world. im obviously not saying ask someone on a million to go to 20,000 and im not a communist saying everyone should be the same. im just saying there should be fairer ways of doing it and if they were the law and actually enforced then directors would have no choice.LA_Boxers wrote:You wont be able to change powerful peoples thinking. I think it's a good idea to discuss why we're revolting
but it would be better done with real people.

If you want to change things, get into politics, not forums. To change the system you have to be in it. Its too easy to blame big powerful companies and our government for things that are going wrong, but alot of the time if you really look into economics and political processes its actually ran by alot of really intelligent people, doing some really amazing things to change their country.
People don't get into positions of such power without the intelligence to back it up.
And I think in the grand scheme of things England has it pretty sweet, free healthcare, emergency services, benefits, amazing infrastructure, free education etc. Alot of people in the world don't have these things we take for granted.
There is always room to improve our country, but a revolution I don't think is what we really need right now. Revolutions tend to totally balls things up for a few years, until someone else gets into power and things get back to normal, and the whole cycle is repeated. Human nature kicks ass.

I quite like the idea of revolting till we return to a monarchy. That will really confuse the world

@ tomfooleri i realise we have it relatively sweet and agree completely. I'm not actually saying we should take to the streets and fight the oppression cus there isn't one but there is always room for improvement and the only way that comes about is by people pressuring the government. people in north africa aren't involved in politics but they made a change through numbers and shared views
the students unions could have done it but they gave up. the leaders of those unions have future careers in politics to worry about after all
Re: Join the Dubstep revolution...

If I was a director of a bank, and through my cunning and banking s|<1llz I made billions of pounds for a company, I'd want a pretty fat bonus, and fuck the hoez on the desk who cashes cheques.
If you have the skills, attempt to be your best.
