Is it just me or does the thing he's controlling seem to change randomly between being lfo rate and pitch? :\

It seems to me that the melody is pre programmed and the wobble changes with his movements, could be wrong though.
Pitch would just sound so retarded if it was controlled by something that variable.

One of my instructors in college actually designed something like this using max/msp. She was also a dancer, and in live performances could control different instruments of a song depending on where she was relative to a grid system programed into a camera, that was in 2005.
