Now knowing what you got (you got monitors right) I would get some headphones and/or midi keyboard/controller, as your's seem to have seen better days.

If you wanted to blow the whole lot on headphones, I would go for k701/k702, or hd650, but I would bo try them if I was dropping that sort of money on headphones. If you wanted to get headphones, and midi I would go for some k240(love mine), or hd280.

As for midi keyboards/controllers their is to much to think about, like how many keys, after touch, pads, ect, just don't buy anything M-audio imo.

If I had £300 for gear (which I don't :( ) I would get me some analogue goodness, maybe a dark energy, or a yamaha cs 10, or a few pedals, or even a doepfer mini case, with a few filters, and audio manglers.
2 keyboards 1 computer

Holding vinyl in milk crates, that's badass man! I'd totally stick with that to be honest, more character than bought stuff, although i guess it might not be the safest for the vinyls.

As far as MIDI keyboards go, I've got myself one of the older M-Audio axioms and it's been great so far. If you don't need the faders, knobs and pads it comes with you can grab the oxygen for even cheaper.
