Popping in Logic?

Post by andregmp » Fri Feb 25, 2011 5:02 am

Hey guys, before I mention my problem, I have searched all over these forums for a solution or maybe a similar problem someone has had before, and I haven't really found what I needed, so I decided to post a question, maybe someone can offer some help?

I recorded a sample from FM8 on Logic and bounced it down to an audio track. Now when I play it the new audio track, there is a little click or pop right at the end, mostly in my left channel. The weird thing is that I kept the original source, and the pop isn't present there.

I read somewhere to up my buffer rate, so now I set it at 512, but the pop is still there. It's specially annoying because every time I play the new bounced audio sample, looped or not, the pop is there and I can't get it to go away for the life of me.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

think i might have had something like this before. try bouncing in realtime? if not try using the fade tool if the pop is at the end of the sample.

popping happens when the audio file is cut off short you might have not caught the whole tail of the fm sound, use bounce track in place if you have the latest logic
