i'm sorry...the first movie was so bad, that it doesn't deserve a "do over"

someone tell stan lee to close his legs already, and let some of his characters retain at least some measure of dignity

no, no, no, wrong wrong wrong.

theres so many cool comics with the hulk in, same with all marvel comics to be honest. so it would be easy for them to do a decent film.

i agree, first film was terrible, but this is why the must do another.

i also agree they should stop making crap comic book films. - just needs somone with a clue to direct and produce em. look how bad x men was. and the rest. blade was good though, as were a few others.

this new film tottally ignores the ang lee film anyway. doesnt carry on where it left off.
also supposed to be more like the tv show which would be excellent.

The first one was wank I agree, but Ed Norton(Fight Club) is playing the Hulk this time so it should be alright!

yeah there was too much over acting in the last one..allthough the visuals were pretty dope. Need to be more Hulk throwing tanks and stepping on people for sure!

You WHAT?! The first X Men was awesome. A slow burner, carefully laying groundwork, setting up the characters, backstory, themes with faithfully represented characters...

The second one built on that - lost its way a little towards the end, but gearing up very nicely for the grand finale.

Which is when Bryan Singer left the project to go and direct Superman (why, Bryan, why?), and seemingly handed directing duties to a fourteen year old (no offence fourteen year olds). So I agree with you that the third one was turd on celluloid.

But the first two...I cannot accept such slander and I challenge you to a dual. Shotgun I get an admantium skeleton with retractable sabres coming out of my fists.

You get to kill people you kiss.

ok, maybe i was being a bit harsh on xmen. the thing that pissed me of about the first one was sabertooth. he was wank!! in the comics hes a bigger badder version of wolverine for christ sake, not some guy from metallica who cant talk.
the second film was ok, like the begining scene with nightcrawler, but after seein the sort of action special effects in matrix 2 that were straight out of a comic book and done perfect, i would have hoped for even more from the xmen films.
dont even get me started on the third one. what a piece of poop.

I was living there when it was this big deal."Oooh! They're making the Hulk movie on Telegraph Hill!!!".What a disappointment that was.
