IQ tests are among the most stupid things ever invented. Only MENSA is worse.

i read that as i am to clever for this test and would score high cause is is better than everyone else
Nah, the last IQ test I had was when I was about 10 I think...can't remember the results but I don't think they were particularly bad or particularly impressive.

I just don't see the point of taking a test which is inaccurate in the first place.
If it says you're a genius, you can't trust it. If it says you're a thickshit, you still can't trust it, so what's the point?
Also, IQ tests are exactly that, a test, so if you're particularly prone to getting nervous for exams/tests and similar kinds of pressure, then surely your score (intelligence?) is bound to suffer as a result of your nervousness?

Considering most IQ tests, even "professional" ones, ask pretty much the same kinds of questions, with enough practice you can become pro at them. Just like the SATs. I love the fact that I get special treatment because I got a high score on it, but it's still a stupid test. (That goes for IQ tests and the SATs, and any similar intelligence assessment.)

Did some test at school when I was 16, and got 136. Doubt I'd come close to that nowadays, mind.

Obviously it's no true test of intelligence, as I'm fucking awful at maths, have never been someone who does well in exams, etc... Yet a guy in my class scored 99% in a math exam (and got one question wrong on purpose) yet probably couldn't even name the leader of Libya.

firky wrote:I am smart enough to know that an IQ test doesn't give you a grade of intelligence.
that is a classic pseudo intellectual quote right there. you know you would score low so you just keep saying that to yourself.
Indigenous wrote:Considering most IQ tests, even "professional" ones, ask pretty much the same kinds of questions, with enough practice you can become pro at them.
that just a fucking silly statement. that means all test are pointless cause if you practice you will become a pro. so if i practice at golf every day that unfair because i will be as good as tiger woods. no way will practicing make you a pro it will make you better but if your not cut out to be a pro you never will be. IQ changes anyway the more you use your brain the better it becomes.

thats just fucking silly g how you score high. you must be one of these stupid high IQ people that everyone are on about.

@ everyone. I just wanted to know all your IQ cause you all go on like your fucking clever and call everyone else stupid and shit. i didnt say it would show true intelligence, its just the common system for showing it atm if anyone knows a better test we could do please say and keep your pseudo intellectual attitude at the door ffs.
