all these tracks are fuckn pathetic!! ahahahahh

man... there needs to be some tools always added to these comps,
ie. verb, delay, EQ, compressor!

skunk = the worst track in the comp... the drums are all over the place, vote for yaself much??
I was looking forward to hearing em when I seen the comp... disapointed much??

next comp I'll see I got time to enter, instead of just being a critical ciunt!

Emergent insurgent gets ma vote, tis the one that sounded less like nintendo music!

really? how come this comp doesn't have the mastering quality that this place usually enjoys?
too many people too used to using mastering tools?

just wasn't feeling the fidelity & space of the tracks.

nevermind! bigups on actually doing something!
i sooo gota stop playing counterstrike again.

hahah. Eq didn't work at all. Compressor was very limited (though good at what it does).

That's probably much of it right there.

Personally, I didn't even get around to mixing mine, let alone mastering it. ha. Just barely arranged it!

That's kinda the point of the comp...it's meant to be difficult to achieve the kind of results you usually get.

Personally I have no idea how 'we like crystals' is winning by so much, it's ok, in the top half definitely but it's not the winner. Is anyone even listening to the late added track?? It's about a million times better than any of the others O.o

Ugh, feel I need to point out the automation didn't seem to get recorded, so instead of the first few bars of mine being hi-passed, the WHOLE track is

Lol, ok, next time I'll write a formal essay on the matter, psh. I didn't even say it was a bad tune, it's probably my third fave. I just think the track that was added late could be missing out from people not bothering to listen to it so I thought I'd give it some rep and try and get people to give it the chance it deserves cos in my OPINION it's of a much higher quality to any of the other songs in this comp.

No need to have a period over it man.

Hahaha, I had some clips that should have been turned off, and others turned on, and a whole 4 bar chunk that was left out entirely. I was rushing so much to get it done, mistakes were made. :dunce: I realized it before the deadline, but after I'd uploaded. I said fuck it and let it ride!

You weren't giving feedback on the tunes though. You were giving feedback on other people's opinions.

If a throw away comment like that is gonna upset you guys so much then maybe you should stay away from the internet...jeez I didn't even swear or say ANYTHING insulting to anyone and I've only had positive things to say about the tracks people have submitted O.o

I don't think anyone is getting upset. But a few posts back you came across as like; "Wow! I can't believe everyone is voting for Cristals". And since then you've been playing the 'It's just my OPINION' card, when if anything, it's the opinions of the voters for Cristals that you were attacking (attacking is too harsh a word) in the first place.

I wasn't trying to attack anyone for voting for it. Was genuinely surprised that it was winning by so much. Like I've said before it's a good tune and definitely one of the best in the comp. I just didn't expect things to roll that way.

Anyway back on topic;

Would the creator of 'Rainy Leaches' wing me a pm so I can congratulate you? also I have a sneaking suspicion about who made it and I'm dying to know if I was right! :p

Peace y'all. Bottom line is ALL of these tracks are DOPE, and that is no joking.

Really wish Blackout's producer had more time, that beat is sickness.

Agreed. Considering what we had to work with I think everyones done really well...except maybe me XD I'm still quite pleased with my drums but the melodic elements just wouldn't sort themselves out.

Isn't that the way, sometimes it just works, sometimes, it just doesn't... All about minutely, incrementally, adjusting that ratio. :)
