dark BUT progressive, fast paced dubstep

Post by 55stevieboy2010 » Sun Feb 27, 2011 5:59 pm

ez

so i found this relative unknown artist other day her names peek, basically love her tunes so so much, they are kinda dark but the difference from anyone elses tunes ive come across is that even though they are 140bpm theyre progressive and fast paced (if you know what i mean) heres a link to listen to both her tunes so ya get my drift

http://www.digital-tunes.net/releases/sphinx_ep

another producer which i consider has a kinda fast paced feel to his tunes is benny page (no intro required obviously) example of a tune is

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fuYziV1QGs

basically im after more tracks like these, as much as i love my dark slow paced kinda tunes, ive got them comin out my ears. can anyone suggest some artist or tracks that might fit what im after (thats if you understand what the hell im bangin on about in the first place ;-)

safe

the new n-type and cyrus tune "dark frequency", very dark, very progressive, and you'll get that pace with the second drop.

re OP:
ironically Sphinx isn't what seems typical of Peek
e.g. Trust is stoner slow
prefer Hold Tight...interesting sound...certainly "progressive"

You may be looking for denser breaks rather than speed.

Thanks tripwire. That vid for Mala makes the music strangely sad (but still great)
