This made me lol. First time I've heard any online message service described as an industry standard. It's true though, I don't know of anyone who's used MSN since 03.

I use MSN!

I once had a middle aged phillipino drag queen ask to "eat all my cums" on it :(

Perhaps that's why no one uses it...?

To set the record straight, I don't think FL Studio sucks. I was just saying that everyone else thinks it does, and no matter how much people tell you it sucks for producing dubstep don't let that discourage you from using it because I found it the easiest.

Why would I say that the DAW I use sucks?

Nobody thinks FL sucks anymore XD that's like sooooo 5 years ago. Also, just because YOU found it the easiest doesn't mean it IS the easiest. It's unwise to tell a newbie that he HAS to use FL because it might not be his thing, he might find Ableton or Reason or Reaper or Cubase or whatever a lot more intuitive so it's best he tries them all and sees which he clicks with.

[RANT ABOUT "VICTIMISED" FL USERS]
I've never got that about FL users, the only people that say it sucks are the people that use it. Everyone else just goes around minding their own business and saying stuff like "just use whatever DAW is right for you maaaaaiiiin" but some FL users are always bring up this supposed hate they are supposed to be getting O.o but where from? seriously where? Too many top level producers use it to slag it off and at the end of the day Reason and Renoise users get a LOT more shit for their choice of DAW but you don't hear them bitching about it do you?!
[/RANT]

(obviously that isn't aimed at ALL fruity users)

Also, Dubstep was practically BORN from FL. A good portion of the 'founding fathers' as it were all used FL back then and some still use it today (aka skream) so how could anyone in their right mind say FL is shit for making dubstep?? It would be like saying you shouldn't use a Strat if you're gonna cover a Hendrix track.

Hendrix couldn't afford a Stratocaster when he first started because he was just Little Richard's underpaid rhythm guitar player, and when he first started getting recognition Keith Richard's girlfriend at the time gave him Keef's guitar (because she said he wouldn't notice one guitar gone since he was so famous), which he had to restring because he was left handed, which is also rumored to be the Stratocaster he played at Woodstock. So in the beginning, Hendrix didn't use a Stratocaster, he used the Danelectro his step father gave him.

I have learned that nothing I can say or do will please you Paravrais...why beat the dead horse, yo?

Personally I don't get the beef with helping people out. Why're so many producers against it?

Exactly! And I'm sure nobody got where they are today without help..

Fact of the matter is a lot of us did make it a long way without help, and for me personally, why I help people on here with simple entry level questions, as those are the most difficult times.

But you can spoil people by providing too much information. You have to want to do this, and you have to want to learn this. Your particular path through near infinite information is who you are, best to let people determine that by themselves.

But I don't think they're asking for more than entry level questions tbh, in most cases, they are litterally FRESH to it..
