right now so fucking sad - my best mate, he's ecuadorian but has a so called ''B-ID'', meaning that he officially has the permition for living and working in switzerland.
we booked the flight to uk - leaving today.
now he just found out that he needs a visa for UK.
anyone knows a solution for this mindfuckery?
sooo sad as he rarely can afford getting out of town and this being a big dream of his

((( this trip just got darker.

Can't you get a visa on arrival? Maybe worth giving the british embassy in switzerland a call?

i'm sorry for your mate and you, but if you're not european, or from white, the uk's one of the hardest countries to get into. this is the problem the majority of the people on the planet have to put up with unfortunately.
plus the bureaucracy and attitude of the fuckers in the embassies outside europe does my head in.
anyone with a power trip seems to get a job in an embassy it would seem.
i've got mates in ukraine who've been trying to visit the uk as tourists for years now. they have money, jobs, and family, but still the embassy thinks up some reason to refuse a visa.
the 'war on terror', and the economic crisis have all made it even more difficult.

friday 12 sounds sweet. i'll pay whatever it costs - i'd rather not eat out spend more than the minimum
