cronenberg just wrote a whole story from scratch based on ideas from the book and bits from burroughs life. the whole talking typewriters and stuff came from cronenberg.

Yup. I liked his vision.

I don't think it'd be possible, at present, to make a faithful adaptation of the book.

'Amer' 8/10, very avant-garde but i did enjoy this movie quite a bit... mostly for the amazing cinematography, sound design and score. But also very creepy, it's definitely unlike most other horror films that tend to scare for short periods of time. 'Amer' holds onto it and keeps you filled with suspense until you really feel uneasy.

Whoever was in charge of the soundtrack did a laughably awful job.. the music pretty much ruined it for me.

enjoyed them all but if i had to recommend one i think it'd be 'confessions'.. can anyone else give me some other recommendations in terms of eastern movies, gonna download 'Oldboy' for starters, really enjoyed 'thirst'.
