I have a korg x50 synth and i can connect it to my pc with a usb cable (is that just fine?). I have downloaded some free software too: FL Studio 9, Ableton Live 8 and Reason 5 (All of them are trials). I really like the wobble sound, especially in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wKriBNF_ ... u#t=00m50s i have seen some tutorials on youtube but i cant make it sound so deep, full and smooth? If you have some tips for a beginner like me i would really appreciate it
New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?

Time and effort my friend. It wont all come to you at once. Choose the DAW you feel most comfortable with, buy it and rinse the fuck out of it.

srsly wtf is going on lately?
Re: New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?
I think that once you click on the Production, Hardware & Technical sub forum, there should be a huge fucking gigantic page that has ONLY the stickies on it, in huge red font, then at the bottom of the page a tiny little button that says continue to no spam/dumb fucking questions that are answered in the stickies section, production forum for real questions.

^^^
Seconded, seriously, if the OP had even glanced at the production forum threads there are a dozen with EXACTLY the same question in plain view, let alone the bloody great WANT TO MAKE DUBSTEP? START HERE! at the top...
Laziness? Vision impairment? Or an epic siege of trollage?
I'm beginning to suspect the latter.

its ok man and ya its just the point that there are a ton of these threads made everyday. and for the most part theres no direct answer in how to get the exact sound. your best bet is to try to youtube and google tutorials. and just research and learn synthesis all together so you can make them on your own. thats what im still trying to do.Benjab wrote:Oh god! usually around here it will get you the furthest if you research first and then maybe ask specific questions.
Re: New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?
Personally I think there should be a subforum within production and you should need a minimum of like 100 posts before you can see it or post in it. So we move everything except the stickies into this secret subforum and then all the trolls/idiotic n00bs can post in the overground section and spam it up as much as they like and we can sleep easy in our gated society...shame it'll never happen

haha that would be pretty funny. or just make a sub forum "How to make this sound" that way it wont flood productionparavrais wrote:Personally I think there should be a subforum within production and you should need a minimum of like 100 posts before you can see it or post in it. Re: New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?
That wouldn't work though cos they would just get to this forum and then post without reading it. They don't read the how to make this sound threads so they won't read a forum for it. The shit for the newbies needs to come *before* the stuff for the sensible people so they get caught in it like a net and don't filter down to us.lyons238 wrote:haha that would be pretty funny. or just make a sub forum "How to make this sound" that way it wont flood productionparavrais wrote:Personally I think there should be a subforum within production and you should need a minimum of like 100 posts before you can see it or post in it. That would make it worse, people would just spam every thread to get there post count upparavrais wrote:Personally I think there should be a subforum within production and you should need a minimum of like 100 posts before you can see it or post in it.

the how duz I maek wobble threads continue
Re: New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?
Instead of just kicking off at people who make the same threads over and over, try this;
1) Make a pre written thread response to the most frequently asked questions, complete with links to useful threads on DSF pertaining to that subject
2) Whenever someone asks said questions, just cut & paste the responses into the thread as your reply
3) Report the thread to a Mod requesting it be locked.
Alternatively, turn each thread on the most commonly asked subjects into a couple of pages of n00b bashing which gets everyone riled up, solves nothing, and could potentially drive away new members.
Your call.

Every time I read one of these threads, I imagine the OP having the voice of an 8 year old.

The preschool kids are here now. Theres been an alarming influx of threads like this. Im gonna go listen to Friday by Rebecca Black some more, and come back tomorrow night.

Re: New here, how to wobble like Bulletproof?
You guys don't need to respond to these threads, just ignore em if you don't like em. And to the OP, thats not even that good of a bass imo. You should push for better than that.
