Well I just tried to keep it minimal. Not really into the whole brostep kinda thing. But thanks for the feedback!

who mentioned brostep? why does that get brought up almost into every feedback thread? and lacking elements as in the sub sounds like it's over powering the kick and the overall drums don't sound like they stick out so much and aren't so loud maybe because of frequencies clashing? pretty chill track though i like it

I love the original and had started doing something with this tune too but couldn't get it sounding anything better than the original so I gave up, which is perhaps the criticism I'd give here.

Personally I'd try and let it build- the original gets much more dramatic and 'big', keep the rising strings and add things like dramatic sub and drums....but then again not really sure anything like that works any better than the original, I couldn't manage it anyway.

@Hypefiend yeah I set out to make the drums seem "distant" in a way. Just used a frequency filter and turned it down about halfway. But thanks! @Mr Hyde Yeah the original is amazing, and I like the idea of building it up! shall try it
