the ignoring your surroundings thing seems true. a frienemy of mine is traveling around asia with an ipad and the amount of shitty almost hourly updates to facebook/twitter/emails/blog makes me think its all just done to show off.

My dad has cardiomyopathy and his ipad is like a second limb to him, he'd be lost with out it. Probably one of the most empowering gadgets you can buy for a terminally convalescent person.

Brooker is getting shitter and his snearing and condemnation of things is getting boring. I'd love to see a Paxman style character assassination of him on TV where he hasn't got time to think of long-winded 'funny' retorts.

He should stick to his Guardian column and writing books. He's good at that.

And He should send Koni over to my gaff where she can be bent over the kitchen table. Nekkid.

I have to agree that Brooker is getting very boring. He just comes across like more and more of a prat every time I see him on TV. Used to really enjoy his guardian articles and he does raise some good points but his "character" is wearing very thin now, he's become a parody of himself.

All this "Go away" at the end of shows etc....yawn
