[MCR] 19/3 wAgAwAgA meets CountCasio uptown first time

yo

calling all northern monkeys.

this will be the first outing for the machines. taking u back to late 90's midi technology. we've got a load of hardware and we've been working since christmas to bring u the finest bass gumtree can buy. ricky vanquish will be complimenting the arcade rhythm section with some processed guitar and delayed melodica. hurtdeer providing the monologue. the first of many good dub sessions im sure. bring your best dancing shoes and make sure u smoke some before u arrive as it will certainly help u stagger and skank. this is a new venture taking our first outing. no djing, just purely jamming with toys. taking the sub as low as the in house soundsystem will let us.

as far as i know the venue is called 'an outlet' the night is on March 19th. manchester. its a saturday. its a small venue. if u wanna watch some people mess around with buttons and wires and make zappy noises then come along and jiggle around with us.

blarg!

cu there.

All the details at http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=168999759813908

As the Southern Pussy above so eloquently summarized, line-up looks something like this...

COUNT CASIO & THE COSMIC WAVE FUNCTIONS (feat. Wagawaga, Ricky Vanquish and friends)
HURTDEER (Broken Bubble / Acroplane / Mothers Against Noise)
COGIDUBNUS (Broken Bubble / Methodology)
ANYTIME
BLOOD BOY (Birthday set)
BORLAND DJs
LSN
+ Visuals by DAN SNEAR

...put together to promote our new label Broken Bubble and give Mr Waga a chance to show off his new toy collection. The This City is Ours residents can pick a tune or two, and with it being Blood Boy's birthday too, good vibes will be plentiful.

It's an early start at 7 running through till midnight. "An Outlet" is on Dale Street, round the corner from the Roadhouse, This is their website http://www.anoutlet.net/ yes, that is the right place. There's no door tax and a fine worldly selection of beers and ales.

Hear these sounds:
