Wire actress Felicia 'Snoop' Pearson held in drug raid.
Actress Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, who played a killer in television series The Wire, has been arrested in a drug raid, police say.
She was among about 30 people arrested in an early morning sweep in Baltimore, Maryland, the same city where The Wire, a gritty drama about drug trafficking, was set.
Police declined to comment on the charges she could face.
Ms Pearson, 30, was convicted of second degree murder when she was a teenager.
She served time in prison after the murder, which she committed when she was 14.
The Wire is the best TV series ever, even better than the Sopranos. Series 3 was my favourite on the first watch through, but once you've got through to the end of series 5 then start watching them over again, series 2 suddenly makes a whole lot more sense.

The Sopranos is brilliant and highly entertaining but because all the best characters are cherished and given the best lines / scenes. This coupled with it's unnatural dialogue is what separates it from The Wire. The Wire is far more 'real world' than The Sopranos. The Wire actually feels very true where as with the Sopranos you know you're watching a TV show.
