Didn't get a James Blake ticket from both venues even though I was there when it went on sale. WTF! :q: :corncry:

Fucking food being so expensive...

I only bought some bacon, milk, cheese, biscuits, butter, mayo, 10 cigarettes and some crisps and it cost me £20.

Basics Apples, kiwi fruit, bananas, radishes, spring onions, bag of spinach, basics tomatos, big pack of basics fresh pasta, big back of basics chicken breast, basics kidney beans, sweetcorn, basics peas as my base shop, then every week I'll spend whatever is left on something different. Cans of soup, tinned tuna, sweet potatos, cottage cheese etc etc to make a bit of variation.

All about surfing the deals too. Got the 3 for tenner packs of fresh meat this week, chuck two in the freezer and defrost as required. Always got some pesto kicking around in the cupboard for a pasta sauce, stock up the rest with a few tins of random veg to chuck into something, and jobs a good 'un.

Oh yeah, and I take a pint of milk home from the work fridge every day.

I normally get all my shopping delivered as I haven't got any wheels at the moment. Its a bit shit because if you don't freeze or eat the food straight away, it goes off very quickly.

And I go to the fridge and find my mrs has eaten all the nice things. :twisted:

if you ever need herbs just go into a supemarket and pick exactly what you need from the pots they have that you're supposedly meant to plant. nice way to keep stocked and its barely classed as stealing. just made me remember that when you said you always have pesto knockin about

I've always wondered, with those self service check outs do you need to even pay for vegetables. It asks you how many you have and you enter it in manualy. Surely you could just not check them and just walk out with them in your bags, it's not like their tagged.

Its done by weight. So anything substantial in the bagging area will flag up on the screen/system
