I've run into a really weird playback problem with my tracks
I'm at a loss here, I can't even begin to trouble shoot this one, so I'm gonna just ask:
I have two MP3s that I'm trying to play in Serato (the one in my sig, and the other one Exocite on my soundcloud). It sounds like the bass is pumping in and out, almost like a really heavy side-chain or something, or like it's ducking for some reason. It's SUPER noticable, to the point where the tracks are unplayable. All the tracks from commercial artists are playing just fine through serato. There are no red peaks on the mixer, or on the input on my interface. The waveforms look perfect within serato too, they look just like the other tracks.
Now keep in mind these sound just fine on my monitors through my sound card, and on every other stereo i've tried them on. I'm playing the tracks on the exact same monitoring setup that I produce on, the only difference is that they are running through my analog mixer then into the INS on my sound card.
What the heck could cause this? The tracks are limited properly, not clipping, etc. It sounds normal on everything else.

Is there limiting on the mixer or something? Over limiting can cause ducking.. Have you tried taking off the limiting on the tracks and re-bouncing them and trying?

Fixed by turning off master tempo. Something to do with timestretching ? It's odd cause it works fine on all my other MP3s.
Oddness.
Oddness.
