anyone catch any of the DJs in the SUBLOADED area of bloc?
I saw all of Mala, a bit of Loefah and most of Joy Orbison. Mala really doing the buisness IMHO. Anyone else see any of the subloaded line-up?

Stayed there all night until Ramadanman, was insane. Then got evicted from the sight and wanted to top myself.

Naaaaahhh really?? I assume I can guess why? LaaameDrop_Dead wrote:Stayed there all night until Ramadanman, was insane. Then got evicted from the sight and wanted to top myself.
But there was awesome music throughout subloaded...
Unlikely was awesome! Saw the name on the line up and knew it would be worth a nose, only got in for the last half but got greeted by a very welcome assortment of classic dubstep/garage tracks!
Then Guido was fecking incredible. Awesome set, a total mess of beautiful yet gritty tunes. In nothing but a good way, was expecting good things but the man blew me away!
Next thing I caught in subloaded was pinch. Who, as you would expect...totally smashed it. All manner of heavy hitting dark basslines. Pinch and malas sets sounded the weightiest of anyone i saw in any room that weekend. Oh, and pinch dropped horror show like a TOTAL badman.
Next up was mala who played one of the best sets ive ever heard from him! Cant remember it aaaaaall that well, but it included totally massive tunes left right and centre. Distances remix of changes, mountain dread march and spongebob going off particularly hard from what i can remember...
I cant actually remember the line up after that lol I know I skipped loefah having heard him at DMZ the week before and been somewhere around "meh". Pretty sure i then came back for someone else...but really couldnt say who
Memory crew?
Long story short, big up pinch/everyone that played. Amazing night.

Yeah mate, you've guessed why. So depressing.
There's no chance you know what Mala dropped second do you? His set was one of the best i've ever seen.

BLOCtv was such jokes all weekend. personal favorite had to have been that Japanese Koala film, where he was out to avenge all of the mass killings of his koala bredren.
Subloaded night was unreal. so glad to finally get a chance to see Mensah, Guido, Gemmy, and Joy Orbison live. Pokes was on FIRE during Mala's set. right before Changes drops "Don't take it for no teletubby scenario. I don't wanna see your TV tummy. Come again with the face looking funny. Monday morning is a different story!"
So nice to listen to those tunes on that Funktion-One system too. Gonna make it really hard going back to clubs here in the states. such clarity in the sound. have never heard music SO heavy while at the same time, being able to carry on a casual conversation with someone next to ya.
Stuck around in tec:bloc most of the night aside for Rustie in jak:bloc and Ramadanman in red:bloc.
time of my life!!! out to all crew who put in the hard work and time to make that event possible.

Subloaded stage was where it was at. Pinch was fucking sick too, dropped I Luv U by Dizzee Rascal and it went off, Pokes ran on stage and rewound it hahaha. Artwork ran on and rewound a tune he dropped too, such jokers. Mala took it for me though, triple dropping that Coki tune wooooooooooooo. left after that only to get incredibly spun out by Bloc.TV and then onto SBTRKT and Jamie XX (who werent all that tbh) Caught the end of Joy Orbison, sounded bigggg

...then at the end they turned his mum into green mush and ate her off the kitchen table??!!jsml wrote:

Anyway Joy Orbison was deep but I was disapointed with Leofah a bit, prehaps I was expecting too much. I missed Shackelton as the Mrs wanted to see Beardyman
For anyone with more than a passing interest in techno LFO completely smashed it to bits!...then smashed those bits up.
The big supprise of the weekend for me were Space Dimension Controller. Really nice deep atmospheric techno and the crowd were good for him sawell, nice vibes.
Finally OUTRAGE
