Yeah, I know... But i'm searching for the sweeping movement in the bass
So I will repeat my last sentence...
"Resampling & pitch automation on it? Or do you guys have better ways to achieve this bass sound?"
2 of those tunes just sound like a sine wave that goes up in pitch, then down, or the other way round, you can just automate the pitch bend on a synth, or use an lfo to control the pitch of the oscillator, the second tune sounds totally different though.
You addressed me as a kid. :'( I no longer want to help...
But I will, get yourself NI Massive if you wanna get that Swagga sound. Use a combination of squares, saws, scrapyard waveforms, etc..
Then automate that Daft filter.
Should get you atleast close.
Try the Sine Shaper or some other distortion unit on there. I recommend turning the compression off on Camel Crusher and turning up the tube slightly. Always fattens basses up nicely.
I was actually U-streaming with widdler when he made the Froggystyle bass...
He just messed about the Malstrom's modulation settings till it sounded like that.. Try routing normal wobble to Mod B, then also messing with Mod A - you'll get bass what sounds like that eventually..

I think the op was asking how to make the sub bass slide, not how to make a datsicion swagga bass
Circle Bass, I don't know... A year ago my friend and I were listening to frogyy style, and he said something like... Damn, if I must visualize that bass, I would draw it like a cirlce!
Thanks for the info, guys! I think I'm gonna mess around with pitch or glide to make that kind of sound!

I don't use reason... but I think Operator can also come close to the sound! Maybe with some Fm synthesis I could make it even better? Who knows... Let's find out!
A certain producer with a certain name in a certain q&a actually broke down a certain froggy basse patch... They even say he namedropped the name of the basic wavetable he used :O...
some say people started downloading reason after they heard about the origins of the mythical patch..
i dont believe it tho... noone is kind enough to give insight on their techniques

Do you use fl studio? I use fl studio and its a really simple thing to do, if you want, I'll give you step by step instructions

Thanks man, but no... I don't use Fl studio (ableton ftw ), but I became close to the sound I was looking for!
Thanks anyway, really appreciating the help!
