Hey everyone. I'm pretty new to this site. As you can probably tell with my number of posts.

I just recently started getting into making Dubstep. I've always messed around with little beats here and there, but I've decided to take a swing at Dub.
This is a track I made. It's called "Reverse Mario World". I called it this because in the beginning noise it reminds me of Mario playing backwards. So I went with that and revolved a song around it. So, tell me what you think! Feedback would be great since i'm pretty new at this. This is literally one of my first tracks so yea. Hopefully this brings back some memories too!

Great idea for samples! Song needs developing but a good start. Work on all elements of the song, make the percussion more complex, add some hi hat or shaker sounds, add more melodic elements. It is a great idea for a song though, it def took me back.. might have to break out the N64..

Great samples and basslines, but I agree, work on the percussion, vary your beat up a tad bit. On the whole, it's really good for your first track.

Thanks guys! Yea I definitely know what you guys mean about more percussion. After I made this beat I actually watched the Rusko and Benga interviews where they talked about percussion. They said they always try to layer lots of percussion to where you can almost listen to that by itself. So yea, I'm gunna make sure I focus on that a lot more now too. Thanks for thee feedback guys! Real encouraging.
