Hmmmm? :D :D
the highlight of your night was seeing someone look at your poster soundslike you had a good one then !?
sorry what day is your night again dont think you've blatantly plugged it on every fuckin post you make enough yet. better start up some more threads about vexd/ brighton or anything else related so you can blatantly plug it some more eh
was just funny thats all

i started up one thread and it got moved to the events section, and seems as everyone else had one in the main forum i started another one.

what do u mean by pluggin? ive got the flyer as my sig like a lot of people on this board.

the Brighton post i made was after i realised that in 4 weeks we had a lot of the scenes biggest dj's playin here. It also mentioned every gig so i dont really know what u mean? I havent started a thread on Vex'd.

my comment above was a joke (Hence all the smiley face things), like im sure Cazuals was.

SORT IT OUT!

ra BIG UP everyone who reached this and BIG UP all the djs/mcs, was truly a night to remember bare family tree inside! SLT and Ntype killed it, repeatedly! There was one point when you couldnt even get near the speakers there was so much air pressure, pity the monitors went again, cant seem to stand up to the power of the gramps!

See you all at the may dubpressure, starring our good friend Plastician

man no critisism mean , just humour innit , please dont misconstru the comment i made as it wa an observation nothing else , we all have to plug what we do , so as the scene can remain healthy, back biteing is not healthy , and will not help the brighton scene , or dubstep in general grow , respect to anyone doing there thing , respect to dub pressure for pioneering the dubstep scene in brighton , and making it possible for others to do their thing , i plan to do less nights in brighton myself as i dont think there is room fer all and treading on toes , and shareing venues , will not make things better .

good luck on thursday shaun the line up is good and i will be there.

yeh they (the volks) need to secure the metalwork in the venue to stop drownin out the tops and mids
i think a lil extra tops and mids and maybe sum work on the sub crossovers wud make the bass a clearer too :)

Only had that happen twice in ten years of going there, they're about as thorough on that as they are for checkin ID and whether it's past capacity or not.

Still they're pretty decent folks and not one's to kick off without reason like some door staff

Getting the sound right in there is quite a mission... The acoustics change quite alot during the night with the amount of people in there, different producers mastering and EQing of the tracks varies quite alot as does various peoples subjective views on what the system should sound like. Another thing I've noticed is that the Pioneer cd players have a very bright sound compared to vinyl, and I have to pitch the sound of the rig so as not to make the cds sound too tinny, as well as the vinyl not too dull. As far as the bass goes having such a large amount of bins in such a small room means that its very difficult to get a flat, clean response because of all the rooms nodes/resonant points causing problems... Keeping everybody happy seems to be almost impossible!

Sounded fine to me - not really your fault about the amount of resonant piping fella.

Gotta be said it does all the chestboxing and doesn't give me tinnitus which is more than can be said for a lot of rigs.

Some people eh, never satisfied
