Has production helped you out side of the studio?

Post by Gewze » Fri Mar 18, 2011 7:43 pm

Im a training auto technician, also known as a mechanic ;) because cars are getting more electrically advanced we've got to learn about PWM and i have to use oscilloscopes daily etc my experience in producing has given me a huge leap above the class in this sector 8) .
has anyone ever been given the upper hand through your experience?

i once explained to this girl, through very relatable analogies, what a compressor did. when i looked up, she was naked, and then she threw herself at me. I peaked at around 4 db 5 minutes later.

When I moved back to england. To be allocated a science class suitable to my ability, I had to sit an exam. There was a section on waves, which I had never learned in school. But my experience with them in FL got me a grade good enough to be in the top set.
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

yeah man when i'm at the bar girls love it when i talk about phase cancellation issues, they think it's something with designing spaceships and stuff. 8)

but srsly if i wanted to get laid i'd have started playing guitar

and production hasn't helped me in any other way so far except the simple fact that i have something to look forward to when i wake up in the morning or have a particularly bad day at work. which is pretty much the best thing one can have.
