Adivce about CD decks

Post by phuboy » Sun Apr 22, 2007 4:40 pm

I'm thinking of getting a CD deck to go with my normal decks and was wondering if people had any recommendations...

I was looking at the Stanton C313 and Numark Axis 9, but haven't tried either so if you've got one, please let me know if its any good.

I roughly wanna spend £250.

Many thanks, you sexy biatches.

I did the same thing you did. spin mostly vinyl but wanted a cheaper cd deck to play dubs and my own tunes. went with the pioneer cdj-200. its solid, no frills and does the trick. the one thing i do not like about it, that the cdj-800/1000 has is the touch sensitive jog wheel, so you can cue up tunes with the wheel. took me 10 minutes to get used to doing it the other way.

cant comment on the ones you are looking at but pioneer seem to make solid cd players.

good luck

I have th Numark Axis-9 and I think they are quality, they aint as pretty as some other on the market but they are robust, have some really good features and I think good value for money

pioneer is the technique of cdj's....everyone else in the game is just trying to duplicate what pioneer has already done. the 200's are my favorite...no cheap record fx imatations or looping or any other crap you could get on a decent dj mixer....just a pitch control and a wheel...
