GRIME. Nerz, Double J, Tuco, me, ... Mark One IZ GRIME - that's why he on 'GRIME VOL1 (- Rephlex)' innit!!!

We be playin all dat shiiit from Dizzee Rascal to Kano to Lethal Bizzle to instrumentals...I play from roots up, Horsepower Productions, Wiley, Random Trio, Hatcha, Skream etc, crossing from dub to garage to dubstep to grime to sub-lo whatever as long as da riddim is strong innit!

REaveboy and the boys like Nailer been breakin seriously heavy PROPER grime tunes here on parties since time get mi? You clearly never heard it...aint like this pants tune up here wiv amateur wiggaz blowin off on some dated riddim tryin to be all that and FAILIN get mi? Iz abour proper real producer/dj skillz. NHo copycat shit, just takin an influence and growin it like da herb we all be smokin out here! No one chats this bout herb get mi
? Herb be international, everywhere different flavaz and influence but all wiv same dubwise rootz and culture.

thomas, i was out there in january, cross club had mala headlining, n the sheffield n preston lot covering room 2 with dubstep n steppas an it went down a storm. a mate o mine is living out there an gettin regular bookins as a dubstep dj in praha so its definatly on the up.
ill try get a list of a few clubs/djs pushin it...

I used to run nights in cross club - we had Mark One
a headlining, I had locals plus me covering room 2 and it also went down a storm - this was exactly 1 year b4 Mala DMZ headlined. Been going on a while.
Can u tell me who da mate o yours living out here gettin regular bookins as a dubstep dj in praha is and some contact for him pls? I am now running 'Bassment Dubz' in XT3.

i thought were talkin bout homegrown scene not about guests as markone etc
...forgot about tuco and about 1-2 other djs.. im not from prague so i really dunno... but im not hearing at playlist more stuff like ruffsqwad, nasty, blackops, napper, shizzle, doogz etc...maybe som mp3s but thats a kiddie play
...and when u ask someone whos biggest on the road now everyone says jme because boombap sayd so
if youthink the scene is really big here then maybe im blind

Well course outside the capital (Prague) it aint big massiv, but there's monthly dubstep/grime night in Jihlava Jazzoo club, and for rap grime or basically East London crime grime there was grime stages last year at Urban Rapublic and hiphop kemp and i know cos Tuco was doing tha bookings!

Until it's overground commercial it ain't eva gonna be huge get mi?

Homegrown iz the hiphop boys basically, Bbarak been bangin on bout grime for more than one year now since before Mark One, and support djs for Mark One was all local Czechs, now the Sound Headquarters crew at cross club. Dr Kary was ruffstyle mc'ing over Yukimura beatz, don't get more Czech grime than dat.

Anyway iz no beef, outside the capital London there's equal small scenes in jus few cities. Mark One iz from Manchester but hardly ever played there, was always Bristol and London. Leeds has occasional Glasgow too...it's a LONDON UK sound !!!
