The GSA disco department closes in June for a two year refurb. In the months leading up to June we're hosting a series of free parties. In the first installment we teamed up with HTC and brought you Goth Trad (Japan) and Mungo's and for the second we had Julio Bashmore the legendary Horsepower Productions. Both saw the entire venue reach (just a little over) maximum capacity.
For March's event... ...we've teamed up with Fortified Sessions & Itch! again for another barnstormer.

ITCH! Presents Kahn (Punch Drunk Records)
Last months ITCH! with Julio Bashmore was one of the best ones yet! As expected the place was rammed by half 11, so be sure to be down early to avoid disappointment. (Apologises to those who didn't make it in time. . . . . you missed out)
Kahn (Punch Drunk)
The immediacy of Kahn’s brand of electrostatic synths and stirring, moody grooves are sure to rapidly ascend his profile in 2011. Kahn’s basslines may eminate from Bristol, but prepare to feel the resonance worldwide.
We're not gonna hype this guy for you. Check out the music...

Fortified Presents Shortstuff & Jamie Grind
For this month we're bringing to the front a Fortified favourite in the shape of Shortstuff. For those of you who live under rocks, Shortstuffs productions have been generating the kind of hype that is certainly to be believed in, so in this instance you can forget about the words of Chuck D (but don't make a habit of it). His sides for Blunted Robots, Planet Mu, Berkane Sol and Ramp have been making dancefloor riots that would put Egyptian dissenters to shame. In the world of Bass music, where the word fun sometimes isn't the first word you'd use to describe it, Shortstuff brings the rumpshaking goods that will make you wanna take your hood down, kick off your high heels, let down your hair and tell the guy next to you with long hair, high heels and a hoodie that he totally stole your look.
Along with the man Shortstuff is another very special guest representing for our Fortified Audio camp. You should already know Jamie Grind from his most excellent EP for Infrasonics. Our views were that one EP just wasn't enough Jamie Grind for the world, so we teamed with the man to bring you the recently released "Footwork" deluxe EP, featuring a stellar collab with Hackman on Fortified Audio. As always the Electric Eliminators will be in full support mode and the B.A.S.S rig will be doing it's part in demolishing the art school slowly but surely to save them paying for proffessionals to do it come June.

And did we mention it's FREE?!
We spoil you.
Seriously.
