Is this a standalone vst or a reaktor synth? I think it's it's a reaktor synth, not sure why but it's kinda looks slightly similar to prizm & spark in the layout so I'm got a gut feeling its a reaktor synth...maybe not tho?

Ah, I've just seen Errorsmith's blog and it is indeed a reaktor synth.

Looks meh, but to keep up I guess I'll have to take a look at it.

Anyone know the release date?

ooooooooo........promo idea!

Label your next DJ/producer mixtape as "NI Razor w/ keygen.rar' and watch the download numbers race away.

Razor has been released - http://www.native-instruments.com/#/en/ ... tor/razor/

€69

Is this for use solely as a Komplete instrument/in Reaktor? Can't see any mention of it being a standalone VSTi.

Very soon, I'm gna pick up a legit copy of Komplete if it has this VSTi and Cubase 6 ... there goes 2 weeks pay.

You can use ensembles with reaktor player, which is free. FYI for the uninitiated.

i just got komplete 7, so this synth cost me $20. its pretty dope tbh, but I'm interested in it more for chord-type leads. It's a powerful tool that is quite different from massive, if you choose to just get under the hood even a little bit. haters gonna hate.

remember kids, the tune 2D by skream has a lead line that is a blatant reaktor preset. get over your shit and get producing.

yeah dude. producing is supposed to be fun, not bullshit oneupmanship. This is a new toy. I love new toys, and even though I can rock hard with just renoise and a ton of drum samples, it's nice to get inspired by approaching production from a different perspective with entirely new ways of working.

hooray for native instrument vouchers - glad i didn't buy some shitty sample pack with it and waited for this. it's pretty fun.

yeah thanks man! i agree on the time thing - i've got no time at the moment, but renoise allows me to work pretty fast - that's one advantage i have. though i have max/msp, absynth, and FM8 waiting for me to mess with. I plan on digging deep into absynth over the summer. These are such powerful tools and people seem to just skim the surface of what they are capable of doing.
