LOOK. I CANT GO FOR A DAY WITHOUT READING THIS BULLSHIT ON THIS FORUM! DONT YOU REALISE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO ARE RUINING IT ARE THE ONES THAT KEEP BANGING ON ABOUT IT BEING RUINED, MAKING OTHERS BELIEVE AND LOOK AT IT AS A WHOLE IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT

1. STOP BANGING ON ABOUT THAT ITS RUINED
2. AS LONG AS PEOPLE STILL LIKE THE ORIGINAL DARK PROPER DUBSTEP, IT WILL CONTINUE, AND LOOK AT THIS FORUM ITS FKIN FULL OF US
3. PLEASE PLEASE CAN WE SEE LESS OF THE NEGATIVE BULLSHIT AND FOCUS ON THE POSITIVES AND KEEP TEACHING NEW PEOPLE OF THE WAY IT USED TO BE..........................................THEY WILL TIRE OF THE HEAVY STUFF...........................!!

Here's some advice: in the time you spent crying about dubstep being dead, you could go find some proper new dubstep tunes instead

There's surely more dubstep out there that I'm unaware of than I could ever listen to. Personally I can never exhaust the catalog of dubstep. My issue is not the lack of proper tunes. And I don't suspect that those that I love now will grow old to me. It is characteristic of good art that it reveals all of its complexity and subtlety slowly, over time.

Yes, I am expressing my opinion on something I consider negative. And I agree that focusing on the negative, putting more emphasis on the how it was over the how it is, is unproductive. And I want to contribute to what is productive. Dubstep is worth defending and fighting for.

However I feel justified in adding more negativity to this forum, if only once, for two reasons that I hope you can understand.

1) As a disclaimer to any involvement I wish to have with the perpetuation of the kind of dubstep I consider valuable. I truly want to help. But within this want I have to admit, both, that I have really nothing to really contribute at this point and that, from my perspective, I come from the camp that, I consider, the big problem.

2) Since I consider myself, in a sense, my own enemy, I am put in a confusing position. I am literally killing what I love. If nothing else admitting it to the appropriate community is a healthy sort of catharsis.

It is a melodramatic cartload of balls. Sometimes life is like that.

sounds like you dig it because it wasn't too popular

dont listen to shitty dubstep

listen to good dubstep

problem solved! who cares what other people do! damn man, get your priorities straight. maybe some people will hear some of the commercialized dubstep and decide they like it and delve into the genre to find some really good shit.

Dubstep doesn't feel the same when it got mainstream.

True.

Dubstep is now the only form of music that they don't fully control.

Who cares where dubstep is? I mean we obviously do, I'm really hoping that it doesn't make it to MTV because then that will really be the end of it's soul. But I'd still listen to it, because I knew about it before that. I personally can't listen to mainstream it's too played out i can get my listening anywhere i go. I like knowing the music i listen to isn't already heard by the person I'm showing or my baby sister liking it. Who knows what will come of dubstep as well? Rock eventually mutated into grindcore and dubstep will take it's (even more) mutated turns.

"Dubstep combines the skittering rhythms of breakbeat dance music and drum 'n' bass, some dark digital atmospherics and a splash of modern R&B for melody."
 not a good state of affairs here...

edit: also this- "she was reported to have worked with famed Dubstep producers Rusko on some tracks"
 hahahaha
