Massive key note problems with MOD OSC.

Post by dubstallion » Thu Mar 24, 2011 9:32 pm

I have my sound and I wrote a simple bar. It sounds good when only one note is played, when I try to write a melody every note is really off key and distorted. I am using alot of the MOD OSC inside of massive (Ring Mod, Phase, and Position).

Is there a simple way around this so I can keep the same sound but just change keys when they keys are played? Without bouncing everything down to audio and doing it like that? MUCH HELP!

Erm no, only thing I could suggest is...

Clone your instance of Massive.
Have the first one + MOD.
Have the second one without MOD.
Write out your tune/bassline/melody with the Modless one, but then take out the note that sound good with MOD and paste it into the MOD instance.

That way you have the seemless melody but that one note will have MOD and the rest wont.

Isn't that a kinda obvious thing to do? :)
