Conscious re-appropriation of the effect of the feeling. Basically, instead of panicking and tensing think of it as a 'power-up', which is technically what it is anyway - 'My body is ready to work on this'. Then, assume a state of readiness while simultaneously mentally breaking down the problem in to its constituent components and building a sequential stage plan. Now, do it but be conscious of anything that would mean your plan is invalid and if this happens re-evaluate - grab that bull by the horns by all means but you don't just grab the horns, you've got to move with that beast.64hz wrote:how is this done?test recordings wrote:Think of it as a 'rush' rather than butterflies, like a "FUCK YEAH I AM NOW READY!!!!!!!!!!!!" kind of rush. ah yeah i sort of do this anyway. its mainly about maintaining awareness, sort of taking a step back and objectively viewing the emotion your feeling, then focusing on it and amplifying it. i often do it with a mantra in my head of 'keep ya nerve keep ya nerve keep ya nerve'
