Please help! Can Anyone Create Me A Soft snare or so?

Hi.
Maybe its a wrong topic but still ...
I tried to make a beat like in this song (Starts 2.04)

I mean that fast beat you can listen, i just need one of the drum hits..
But I havent got the right hit for that... I tried using my drums or so, but then it looks like someones shooting somewhere and the sound is just awful!
People examined it and said its a Soft snare layered with a clap or just a snare with heavy compression... Does anyone have this type of hit or can create it to me please? Or how can I do it myself Im really not pro here and cant do it nearly fine on this Pc...

if you can't make that sound or close to it then your percussion library is definitely lacking, go restock. Hopefully that'll help, it sounds pretty close to me.

EDIT, just listened to your 'the hit that i need' mp3 and realized i'd made the wrong thing, to make that sound just high pass pretty much any rim shot or wooden sounding hit. If you have any tom samples you could try EQing them to hollow them out a bit and remove the low end, that'd probably work too.

Hi thanks alot for trying to help me! Yep it still didnt fit, youre reight it needs EQ-ing to make it something near to that I need but yeah the problem is that I dont have really any drums here and I dotn have any EQ-ing skills, even programs to do it so.. Do you have any samples near to it and a program, I could try myself or so..
