If this is dubstep then drum & bass is hip hop.

So wut do you consider Skrillex's scary monsters and nice sprites? Or his cinema remix? It definately DOES have dubstep aspects. Claiming it dubstep. Now i'm not saying he's soley dubstep. He has a lot of other elements he adds too. But wut I don't get is why people deny him being ANY form of dubstep. I didn't know house or electro ripped faces off?

It's like saying if I make a song with an accordion, it's polka, or a violin makes it classical, or a guitar makes it rock, regardless of how the song is structured.

This is probably comin from the guy who was the determining vote fore making Ramadanman the best "Dubstep" producer of the year. You say this is not Dubstep at all, but you say those crap sounds that Ramadanman make and call it dubstep? He sounds like crap if you ask me. But yet he wins the best producer for dubstep. You guys claiming that as "good" dubstep is funny. If Ramadanman is dubstep then skrillex is GOD. hahahaha. Get outta here :t:

I honestly thought you were trolling. Way to overreact. That tune is not dubstep, and Ramadanman is awesome. One day you might grow up and look back on this day and realize the error of you ways.

Not dubstep, but then again, an awful lot of electronic music and electronis music producers have been influenced by dubstep in a big enough way, particulary in the last 2-3 years. And its not just new producers, a lot of established producers have added some dubstep-esque sounds to their music e.g Neil Landstrumm.

Anyways, yes this is kinda a FAIL thread.

Blastfome, you have some serious issues right there mate.

Everyone chill the fuck out and stop trying to label everything. Some people like stuff and others don't.
