Few DEMO Questions...

Post by qualmsound » Wed Mar 30, 2011 11:49 am

When sending demos to a label which of these things should i be doing.

Im not sure if i should cover my back in terms of copyright...

i could add like a "demo Version" tag over the songs.
i could just simply use clips of the songs
i could send low quality versions of the songs

or should i just not bother doing any of the above.
There is a rumour that by sending them to yourself in a sealed envelope recorded delivery that is proof.

Should i be getting my tracks mastered myself aswell or will the label do that themselves if they want to sign some?

I was going to include a little MINI bio about the duo aswell and possibly some info about the tracks and software used for porductions.

WOULD THESE THINGS BE SUITABLE???

None of the above, just send full length, full quality, with no tags, as long as you have the stem work you will be fine............................
