Do you think you could get away with being on the dole if you were a big DJ?Cole Face Jack wrote:Burial is on the dole

I would definately try it but then again i am sure £50 a week wouldn't make that bigger impact.

I have been trying to buy the flac. I gave up and checked my emails. Turns out I have been billed twice and was never given a DL link. Ahh well emailed Hyperdub and awaiting reply.say_whut wrote:When I click MP3 it doesn't respond. can't go wrong.
There's a lot more crazier persons in black metal that Varg Vikernes(Burzum). For example Gaahl(spelling?). Yeah, I love his production style. He asked the sound engineer "What's the shittiest mic you have?" and he gave him a mic from some cheap headset. His bass/guitars/amplifiers are too the cheapest he can find. Did anyone know that his actually name is Kristian Vikernes(which basically means a Christian), and then he joins the black circle haha. Oh, and offtopic^^kentnz wrote:Yeah I find it really hard to sympathize with murderers. I watched a documentary about Black Metal and he seems like an utter nutcase.joeki wrote:Filosofem is good because it is basically an ambient album on low-fi production. And then he pulled the then he added the cheapest guitar sound he could find and just squashed that on top. And it worked. It sounds like something literally recorded in some Norwegian forrest. It is indeed a good album. Other than that, I think Vickerness is an evil person. I can seperate between music and creator, but it's really hard in this instance.dr h wrote:Shame the two albums he has released since he left prison have been terrible.Icey wrote:One of black metals biggest band is Burzum, which is a one man band. He never played a gig, yet he was one of the biggest. Same with Burial.
Filosofem is an amazing album though. One of my all time favs actually.

I suspect a lot of this was search bots and not actual user clicksPsyche wrote:Am I the only one who thinks the 809,000+ views are not legit? I know DSF gets some nice traffice, but 809k?!
Either way, one thing is for sure.

any word you type on this forum at enough volume will be picked up by search engines. thats why we've banned words on this site, as we don't want to get parental blocking.scspkr99 wrote:I suspect a lot of this was search bots and not actual user clicksPsyche wrote:Am I the only one who thinks the 809,000+ views are not legit? delighted to hear digital is available and less than delighted to hear some people have had issues, this won't stop my trying to get the wavs when I get home though

1 - woo theres a new burial! (no sarcasm but i did prefer the split with 4t and yorke but gettin both in the last few weeks is awesome)
2 - wtf's goin on in welwyn garden city???? its kind of a dull place but seems strange that its a dsf hotspot unless all the good producers now have enough money to live outside of london, get a big house n just commute to gigs?
3 - how with all these pages and views has no-one mentioned the true identity of burial?? as reported by the sun newspaper its our very own ........ (drumroll).............. Dubluke!!
