Yea im trying to diversify the chord progression as much as i can to maintain interest. Ill look into it deff. Good ears on the highpass.. Almost every track is routed to a bus with high pass sitting at around 60hz. I was just being lazy and havent automated turning the pass off for the first 24 bars yet.. Appreciate your input..

Like the track btw.. and Congrats on almost reaching your first milestone. Its very impressive and not alot of people can say they've gotten anywhere near that far with their production.

@samkablaam - Like the untuned intro, reverb snare. The Bass Growl feels like it needs to have more top maybe higher cut off range. I like what you've done with the vocals. WOuld really appreciate it if you could run me through how you have recorded these vocals as I have a singer lined up but not sure how to get it right. Message me if you have the time.

@FluidMoShun - V original sounding. I don't like the voice of the piano it doesnt sound right to me. Maybe I just into a more real piano sound. Main Bass needs some work, all in all this is one of my fav tracks on this forum. Awesome work...

@Astral - Love the Offbeat which comes in, the lead needs automation at the start.

@Voodeedoo - Not really my kind of thing. I like the balance you have of bass, mid and the beat but the beat programe bass in this sounds a bit a rex loopy.

Really appreciate ideas, feedback and peoples opinions I work in quite a messy kind of way and the progression with my tracks is mostly down to following other producers advice.. Thanks guys

dream im not a huge fan of the pitch changes in the beginning i think it over powers some other sounds. the rest of the intro i like the hollowness of it and the vocals. but you really need to sub it up after the drop.
its definatly got a nice upbeat vibe to it that i dig. very. tribal? cant really think of another word for it but i love the sound you got going on

@ DreamThief - The intro was very loud, but I actually like this. It needs sub, like it should be the main focus of the entire song IMO.
@ oprs - Nothing to say, I enjoyed it but it was basic, nothing much to it.

hakka - a haunting is really good, really feels like you could push that into a tech step track, get layering those amens. i havent got a bad word to say about that apart from maybe a tiny bit more percussion in parts. on the whole its a really good track

i havent got enough time at the moment to check any other tunes because ive got to go to work but ill leave some more feedback when im home later

hes my new bit im working on its a remix of time by chase & status, i feel as though i could make this track alot darker but heres the first draft anyway

any feedbacks welcome

Orps: Intro was sick. That detuned bass is lovely too. Snare is mint! Just needs to be louder, it's a tad hidden for me. Atmos is amazing in this I must say. Hi hat is possibly a tad too chunky for my liking. But seriously man, your reverbs and that excite me like *insert general smuttyness*. Ace job.

DreamTheif: Love how stretched that percussion is. Panned nicely too. Love how you broke it down to that organny bit. Water sample is nice too. Seriously talented tracks on this forum at the moment! That drop surprised the hell outta me! very very nice! Needs a sub I reckon though man, that'd fill the tune out perfectly. Really original though.

Raincoatdisaster: Your sig track. Chord sequence is eerie as fuck. Got a real nice production vibe this has. Sounds very 80's in its production. Lots of verbs and high end compression. Drop was amazing. This is one hell of a tune. I cant really comment on it cus my mind is blown. All I can say is that bass needs to be made less plasticy sounding. If you get me, it like clicks a little. Tone it down man. Apart from that its SICK.

Genuinely, those are the 3 best WIPs I've heard in a while. Bound to overshadow mine now haha

Here she is anyway:

@Espy Your bassline is too loud and its drowning out the drums which seem to be an amen break rather than the normal drumstep drums which are usually just dubstep drums at 180bpm etc. Liking the bassline, would like to hear a longer version though.

@FluidMoShun Liking the track, kinda funky feeling to it. Really like the drums though, mixture of dubstep and what sounds like an actual human drumming.

Finally heres my new WIP track, work on it for about 2 hours yesterday laying most of it down, come back from work today and got the rest of it laid out. Probably need some more things added to it but I wanted to see what people thought about it.

@ sinister87 - Theres not enough besides the lead going on. The drums are shadowed from the drop on and there needs to be more building or showing up after the drop.
@ Debaser1 - Really like the drums/percussion. Good volume on everything. Nothing much to say besides I like it. Flows well because the beat isn't easy to follow, yet it works.
@ FireForEffect - Nice drop, sub, jimi hendrix sample. Bump like this sample I don't approve of haha (the lady), your choice there. This is better than average, this is good. I hear a clicking at 2:41 for example on the left speaker? Idk if this is the hendrix sample but I think I'm not hearing things. The organ stabs are awesome.
@ zonetrooper5 - I don't think this is going anywhere so far. Not very memorable melody. But it's not garbage, good drums and volume levels. Clap isn't very special.
@ ponte_ricky - Pretty cool, do you have sort of singing filtered going on? I like it especially at 1:32, very very cool!
@ TheBassTest - Nice mixing with the snare, as well as the rest. I was thinking maybe the lead would stand out better if it was less dead center and more spread.

@Debaser1 - The drums and percs have a really nice vibe to them.
@tipo test - Wow, I'm really liking this it has a great mood, love the synth.
@pointe_ricky - I'm diggin the bass, I wanna hear this when its done.

Now for mine, I haven't had much time to produce lately but I've improved my wip from a couple of pages ago. Just wanting some feedback/advice to help go forward with this track

@ Tipo Test : nice squeleton of a track you got there ! I would really recommend you to beef up those drums you have. Seems like they're a tiny bit thin and maybe filter some unwanted frequencies (probably you did it) on most parts of the composing elements of your track. Nice vibe as someone said early !

@ Sifty : Hey dude, there is really something bothering me about the orchestra stab. Seems like it's not always in tune, tickles my ear actually haha. Maybe it would also be a good idea to bring it back into the developpement of the track where you got your wobbling sine wave.

@ TheBassTest : awesome intro you got there ! Makes me think about a track by Cyberoptix : Kong. But I think your midrange bassline needs quite a good clean up like filthering frequencies below somewhere like ... 150hz. There's definitely something bugging with the midrange bass... maybe too much stereo spread ?

Here's a little something I've been cooking, I'm really touchy and critic on my own mixdown feel free to point any shit going on, that would be prime really ! :

Oprs, Debaser - Cheers for the advice I have taken some of the pitch changes out and added a sub/bassline.

FireForEffect - This is v good. Funky, catchy. I don't like the end end of the pitched down main gritty lead I would keep it on the same key maybe and just
change key with the sub and other elements. Love the reggae stab. Vocals need more work.

Pontricky - Watch this tutorial should help you get you drum and percussion sounding fat..... http://vimeo.com/17400390

TheBassTest - I like the cinematic drums at the start the bassline with 3 note change doesn't quite work for me. Drums are great this is gonna be a stomper!!!

This is where I'm at atm...
