I'm not sure if you're allowed to post tunes completely unrelated to Dubstep. :/
It is highly recommended that you visit my YouTube page, and listen to some dirty music, it will do you good:

Re: Skrillex - Reptile
No subtlety at all, it's just blaring noise. Those "yoi yoi" formant filters are annoying, I hear them on so many tracks.
Re: Skrillex - Reptile
meh very muddy sounding, hes done better electro stuff
some wiz khalifa dubstep beats below, feedback! and check the other tunes

It's too minimalistic for me. Needs more noise.

Be careful man, last time I posted something about Skrillex people shiit their pants. lol. But yea, I like this tune. He's an amazing producer so no matter wut all these haters say about him being shiity, they're stupid. Lol. They could NEVER make this for a while if ever. They're just mad that Skrillex is taking over, and some what bleeding over into the dubstep genre. But he does what ever genre really. He's a beast.

Re: Skrillex - Reptile
you can be an amazing producer and still make shitty noise tunes.
skrillex is a perfect example. using his sheer talent and musical knowledge to craft garbage electro and dubstep
just imagine if skrillex took the chilled route and actually used his skills musically

Mate you broke my heart. I swear i've never readed so many bullshit in a single post! I don't get mad to skrillex just because " HE'S HIM ". I love dubstep and i know its roots and its vibes and, trust me, he's soooooo far to be known as a " dubstep producer ". I love the evolution of the genre, but this guy's doing it tooootaly wrong, i think that ANYONE can produce filthy and louder sounds and then putting it all together. Producing dubstep it's way sooo hard than that, u need to get the total control of the sub, this is a root of it!Blastfome wrote:Be careful man, last time I posted something about Skrillex people shiit their pants. lol. This aint too bad though the Doctor P-esque WOIWOWIWIWAOIAWWAIWO sounds are irritating...shoulda go with a heavy metal sound
the little fuck who said this was ''Progressive Dubstep'' really needs to fuck off

i didn't like it but he's mad good at vox sampling... its just he prefers that cheesy overstated sound rather than subtlety (with the vocals)
in that second tune, some of those FM screeches, there's some cool pitch envelopes.. probably scaled by velocity or something, i like the variation in pitch at the drop. of course the actual sound makes me head hurt...
i dunno why kids dig the synth emulation of powertools. as many have said, its got no soul.. i mean its flatline. Theres no ebb and flow to this style

Can some please tell me where there hearing the Doctor P "YOI" noises at? I didn't hear a single one! I hear a few groans and moans in the back round, and that YA! sample, but not to yoi sound. I'm pretty sure that YA! sound is sampled from Mortal Kombat as well?

Listening to Skrillex is like having sex with a robot, it may get you off but there no feeling or emotion in it
Re: Skrillex - Reptile
it may also chomp your dick off in one of it's metallic, sharp robot orifices.Dark Reign wrote:Listening to Skrillex is like having sex with a robot, it may get you off but there no feeling or emotion in it
