feels like a console = dumbed down graphics and other aspects, and once again you have to use a 3rd party tool to access all the graphic options to max it out on the pc

I had a beta version which allowed full tweakability.

Pretty cool game.
Still preferred the 1st game.
Hell Farcry still stands out when it comes to Crytek engine.

Yeah, chalk that up to the game. First person shooters are the biggest games these days and consoles are cheap. These are old, predictable complaints is all I mean. I've seen people crying about it everywhere the last month.

I've been really enjoying shooters on the PC, less half retarded ten year olds is a big win..worth the price difference alone lol.
hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the john..so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz?

Imo - it`s just too linear.

Std argument.

I`m waiting for a sandbox title in the vein of Crysis/FarCry.
Every action can effect another action in the world.

i found the first crysis boring as an fps, though it at least had eye candy. might snag this on steam when it goes on sale, but it honestly does look and seem dumbed down and linear thanks to call of duty syndrome.

re sandbox FPS S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series man, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 is in dev
just saw recently they dumbed down the new deus ex too :/

I`ve seen a lot of talk about the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series but I installed the russian one a while back, not sure of the name.
It just didn`t grab my attention.

Im surprised nobody's mentioned EA's major fuckup of letting pirate copies play online.

Not that I advocate pirating of course, but at the moment its like borderlands, "free" to play online.

I just figured out that on the PC you can easily register for multiplayer even with a cracked version of the game. You just attempt to register with a real email and pass and for the CD code, you just put in XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX with the X's being numbers and/or letters. Make sure no one else would be able to find out the code because it stops you and that person from using the code and any account using that code.

This isn't against any forum rules right? If it is I'll remove it.
