£7.02 seems oddly specific...?

*edit* and it comes out as £8.42 with VAT

Yeah soz the price randomly updated to that I didn't notice as i only just put it up for sale when i wrote the post. I have it on discount to tempt sales its actually £12.50 with a percentage knocked of which makes the price a bit random lol

That's because its not a tune. Its an example of basslines that have no EQ, Effects, processing etc. There all exactly what you buy. I'm not going to make a sick tune and then sell ksd's from it because the customers would be disappointed realizing the EQuing, effects, processing and re sampling is more important than what they think. Plus its hard to make a clip sound decent using 35 synth patches in 3 odd minutes. the synths are of a variety and shouldn't really be blended into 3 minutes.

The pack is for people that are looking for those kind of sounds but dont know how to make them. If you know how to then your not going to be impressed with the product.

i never get people selling preset packs especially when there are people who give away stuff exactly like this and the knowledge is all over this board for free
and looks like someone beat me to reporting this as spam (and before you cry this isn't spam) all your posts are about selling a sample pack and this thread
you haven't participated in any actual discussion on this board and you just wanna profit off it = spam

And all of them sound terrible. I find it downright insulting that you would actually claim this pack is worth £8 when you clearly don't have a clue about how the pro artists you named build their sounds.

I put at the top of the post, 'sorry if this is the wrong place to post' as i am aware it is promoting the sales of my product. I didn't know if it would be better to put it in releases or not because its more about production than a single track release. I'm sorry if your upset about my spam just ignore this thread until it gets deleted. I do know how they build there sounds this pack represents there style as there are many ambient, techno and dub inspired producers and I don't know how else to describe the sounds. If you do some research you will find that there are a lot of much worse packs out there for double my price. Its personal opinion whether you like them or not.

I say they're less important then your making them out to be, but eh, too each there own and too eahc there own workflow. I jsut wanna say that if your selling a pack of samples and YOU work like that, you should at least man up and effect your shit then.

But yeah, I feel like you basically said you want your customers to polish turds right there. I bought goldbaby's sample packs, n you know how much processing I had to do to his 808s?

It should be done before you sell it... Its like saying 'my tune sounds right once the DJ eqs off some of the hi end'... no... your tune should just generally sound right before the DJ got it.

You can not sell a patch pack of KSD format with other plugins and processing on as the other user may have a different programs and its just impossible to do that. I know there basic equing and stuff available in massive but what i mean is if you want real nasty basslines your going to have to use wavshapers and other processing to get it sounding tight. This is impossible unless i sell as a wav format. I do not wish to sell as wav because people would rather learn the concept of the synth and apply it to there work. I am not selling samples I am selling patches so the user can edit to there own style. Its like a tutorial. Some things that sound easy to make to good producers like yourself can be difficult to understand e.g. make a yay without bit-crushing or creating a screechy sounds or wobbly sounds. I do agree with you on the 'less important then your making them out to be' point. who doesn't do that when selling a product. Its always better to be positive.

Jesus fucking christ! I've never seen so many negative trolling replies, even for this forum it sets a new standard. If you like the sounds and want to buy the pack, buy it! if you don't, fuck off! Its that simple. All this guy has done is said 'hey i think i know how to make some sounds, and i'll sell them to you if you want the knowledge', which is a hell of a lot more than you whinging twats are doing. If you don't like the sounds then don't read any further into this post,dj gnome hasn't been rude or insulting to anyone and has been up front and honest about what he is doing. Yet your all acting like he's somehow trying to con us or is a fraud.

I might further point out that some of us asked him to update us when this pack was done.

I might further point out that he is right about the use of effects with massive, as it tends to sound a bit digital out of the box and needs a bit of processing to get it to sound good. If anyone can prove me wrong about this and make a super awesome patch straight from the synth, then please post up the proof! I have yet to hear a really good sounding massive patch.

How can it be legal to pose a sound and ask money for it afterwards, isn't that a part of copyrightish?

I think the idea of him asking money for this is incredibly rude. It's like me going onto an artist forum and asking them to pay £8 for this;

I don't have massive but I know for a fact there are peeps on this board that can do *much* better than that.

Hell just open massive and look at some of the presets that *come with it*. They are infinitely more defined than these ones.

all massive straight from synth

this isn't advertising space for selling sample packs etc and lol and just whinging considering most of us have contributed free preset packs and pages of knowledge and answers on how to do this FOR FREE like a production forum is meant to run
