I think the idea of him asking money for this is incredibly rude. It's like me going onto an artist forum and asking them to pay £8 for this;

That's better than most of the stuff they call "Modern art" mate.

Shit like this ;

Sells for millions.

It's all all about the crap you can talk, like if they guy has got some rare mental illness it adds shit loads of value to it, crazy shit.

OP you got any sale talk, like how you covered yourself in your mums shit to make these patchs super filthly, that would make them go up in value man, like 10k each.

Peace.

ok i have a few things to say.

for 1 everyone is being a bit harsh ( :U: DSF), but it is understandable considering like deadly habit said, the guy has not contributed or discussed anything on this forum. all he is doing is trying to sell his product. we dont want a bunch of people selling their product here. sure its fine to do some promoting/advertising IF you put in your effort and actually make this forum a better place.

for 2 give the guy a break on the sounds. they sound like pretty standard filth patches so idk how you consider them horrible unless of coarse you just hate filth. he stated he wasent going into fx and eqing..their just patches. and that is what they are.

but yeah man you should start contributing to the forum instead of advertising your product. you will get a lot more respect. other than that i think people should ease up a bit and just tell him what i said...

I might further point out that some of us asked him to update us when this pack was done.

I might further point out that he is right about the use of effects with massive, as it tends to sound a bit digital out of the box and needs a bit of processing to get it to sound good. If anyone can prove me wrong about this and make a super awesome patch straight from the synth, then please post up the proof! I have yet to hear a really good sounding massive patch.

I know your like having a go at me or whatever but yeah I like that tune you posted up! its nice and clean and uses some nice modulation :Q: but I think the patches I am offering are of a different category. mine sort of stick out of the mix hard to explain and mine are not as clean as yours I admit. But its because there is a lot of modulation going on and a lot of different types of distorted. I think its more of a preference to what you prefer than anything. Also I am guessing that tune has been through some sort of mastering process? The preview clip has not. Just a limiter that unfortunately does distort the clip if too high. Producer loops asked me to turn up the volume but i did not want to master it and let the buyers be disappointed in the product. Better they hear a shit clip then buy the sounds and find out there actually quite nice!

I did think this myself but i asked Native Instruments for permission via sending them my product for review and they said it was ok as long as i dont use there logos. There are a few people doing this on ebay and very few on sites such as producerloops, prime audio etc

I don't have massive but I know for a fact there are peeps on this board that can do *much* better than that.

Hell just open massive and look at some of the presets that *come with it*. They are infinitely more defined than these ones.
I like the second picture its good :4:

Ok the synth in that tune is ok, but i wouldn't say its anything special. Just sounds like any massive wavetable with a bit of modulation on it. I've yet to hear a next level patch from massive, anything thats produced by the pros must have had some fx chains on it! I'm sure i've spotted massive in a lot of tunes, but it always sounds much better than anything i've managed to do.

And yeah fair play you all got a point about this not being a place for everyone to sell shit. Sorry i got annoyed, it just seems like there was a lot of really negative replies to this, i just didn't see the need. I tend to skim a forum and read what interests me, and let everyone else just get on with the stuff that bores me!

VirtualMark - If you really can't tell the immense difference in quality between deadlys post and djgnomes then you seriously need to refine your sonic palette.

well i just took deadly habits word for it, i didnt actually check your posts. so maybe your contributing more than we think.

and i dont really have a problem with this thread at all. i just agreed with the statement where its not very cool to try and promote sales if you dont contribute.

but you seem like a good dude and i dont see anything wrong with your post. so everyone else needs to lighten up a bit for fucks sake lol and let the dude want to contribute to this forum. cuz who wants to contribute with a bunch of sour puss assholes on your dick every post...thats not very cool either. sometimes we tend to get a bit nasty too easily here on dsf. im guilty of both probably being nasty and getting flamed myself lol.

so keep it up man. and like i said i think the patches are pretty standard filth patches. honestly just what id expect if i was buying a patch...

i cant even make as good of sounds as you did with just the synth. but im the type of dude who will just try to learn it the long way. and i use reason anyway...

There's a sound or two in there I'm SURE came from another Massive preset pack, a free one I'm sure.

All the sounds were created by me from scratch but because I have took inspiration from other artists, (I do not claim that I am the first person to make these style of patches lol) there is sure to be a few you have herd on YouTube on tutorials or in other tunes as they are quite popular sounds. There is one patch in there its a yuy sound that Ive herd loads and loads of people using and its because its a simple LFO on the modern talking waveform then arranged to taste. So yeah I understand why some of the patches will sound similar. :4:
