Ehhhhy, Hows it going.

So I've been into the sound for a while. I was one of those kids like 'OMGZ TEH DUBSTEP IS ALL ABOUT THA WUB WUBS AND THE MIND CRUSHING BASS'
Now my taste for this genre has matured, love the old school dub and the new school.

I've also become super interested in sound design and production. FL 9, Massive, the basics.

Just in case anyone cared....
I found a way to get piece of mind for years and left the hell alone, turn a deaf ear to the cellular phone

I heard DMZ here about a year ago and some of their tunes made my heart and mind explode but somehow I was so stupid to think it was just some kind of special instrumental grime....I never imagined there is a whole genre of this music until Maxximus and Freak Camp started bringing Kode9,Skream and the Sound down to Berlin.

Hello everyone. I have been listening to dubstep, DnB, Jungle, etc.... for a while now and I am very interested in learning more about creating this genre for personal use because lets face it, there are alot of bad dubstep mixes out there :P I come here in a search of knowledge in which programs I should use and how to make bas go "WAH WAH WUB WUB" :P thank you for taking your time to read this and I hope to learn some really interesting and cool things here.

New to Dubstep. Looking to melt faces.

Classical musician (tuba) with a degree in music education turned electronic artist... would be me in a nutshell.

Just got stocked up with Live+Massive (plus Stutter Edit!) and haven't put it down.

My main interest is dubstep, but my projects so far have been pretty varied. Maybe dubstep intrigues me so much because it's the hardest to conceive? Anyway, I've got a soundcloud setup at http://www.soundcloud.com/quarental! All criticism is greatly appreciated (that's the only way we get better, right?)

I look forward to getting to know the community!

PS Trying to find a club in southern Alabama that wants to hear dubstep isn't easy (not even for free).

Hey! I'm new to the whole EDM scene in general, been into it for only a couple of weeks. Dubstep in particular stands out to me. I'd be lying if I said that I didn't think that guys like Skrillex make some pretty good stuff, and that's what got me into the genre in the first place, but recently I've been more interested in artists like Burial and James Blake. I'm interested in making dubstep of my own, and so I've been messing around with a synth, trying to get a feel for how to make patches and beats. Love the attitude on this forum; I'm pretty fuckin tired of politically correct forums where everyone jumps on you at the least bit of controversy. Peace!

Not new to Dubstep, but definitely new to the forum, came across it when I was looking for Skream's remix of David Lynch's - I know, epic remix.
I film Dubstep events and produce music videos, well uh still on the 1st music video, its been in production for a while, untill i get off my lazy ass.

I was just down at Ultra in Miami, just banged this video out: http://vimeo.com/22056059
Its of 12th Planet and The Gaslamp Killer.

I will see you on the boards!
