art is language though.
better to say words can be a prison if youre not aware of their ability to trap you.

In a way, sure. Art is far more aware of the fluidity of human thoughts and emotions, except it's also a bit too open for interpretation.

I think touch is the strongest form of expression.

art and language art aspects of a whole. arbitrary compartmentalizations are man-made constructions. we have to remember that we invented the lines on the map. the map is not the territory.

do you think its actually possible to see beyond our limitations as a species though?

its a bit like the consciousness debate and those who believe it will be impossible to describe consciousness from our state of being

there's no debate about the 8 circuit model

there's just those that have connected the latter 4 circuits and those who have not.

our language quits working after 4.

each circuit available to an individual represents a more complex phase of evolution. The circuits activate in ascending order, providing an evolutionary link between the evolution of a individual human, hir species genetic history and the entire gene pool. In other words, each Neurological Circuit that activates provides an additional cognitive function within the entity that has activated it (whether or not they have awareness of the circumstances that lead to its activation)

Leary theorized that until recently in human development these higher circuits have remained dormant within the brain. However, he believed, that one could activate and experience the higher circuits with the use of some brain change technologies and techniques. Some of these include psychedelic and psychoactive drugs, Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) or Design Human Engineering (DHE), Light And Sound or Mind machines, Crowleyan magick, Meditation, and Yoga.

Eh I would argue that it's different because language is a symbol used to represent something totally separate. There's no substance in a word itself. But art is all about substance in a way you can't escape.

Also FUCK THE WHEEL

No hate, I just think we were rolling stuff on logs before we made the wheel so it's not as special as you give it credit for.
It's helped a lot, but greatest achievement it isn't.

Wouldnt that be the wheel though? figuring out that something round can roll - then figuring you can utilise said log to carry things that you otherwise would struggle with??

Yeah maybe. I don't know the hstory of mankinds development well enough to say wether we were just making beasts of burden do all the work before or after the wheel came about. Maybe your suggestion has been overlooked by the rest of the ninjas. I still say the printing press though. Spread knowledge to the masses. The internet of its day.
