It'll probably be all-hands-on-deck before the gig, but we'll all be down there from the start of the night!

Hers a pic... Thats Gordon (electricEliminator) on the left foreground, and me at the second from the right with hood up. Big Tom Monochrome is the tall gyuy at the back.

there will be a healthy amount of dubstep at pint, it wont be all night but the best part of it will be steppingdubstyle,it depends on the DJ's. i know alot of the people that are coming down wont have a clue what dubstep is so untill the scene is stronger we have to break fowks in.! aye!

i its class. after the feedback ive had from this night, its made me start orgajnising the next one already. all the ingredience are there and there is already a few people interested in playing. we are going to be running everything into the night, im hopefully going to to get alot of our live gear involved again so look foward to some extra fresh beats, beatboxing , riffs, scratching and nasty basslines from team pint. also the guest Dj professa jb will be playing some a warm up set with some glitchy tunes from his stash, aye. dundee bassparty

Everythings sounding tasty good, looking forward to it

That's an interesting point though about the dubstep scene being relatively young and not many people knowing about it. True, but there is something rather accessible about the genre which allows for its wide appeal, regardless of the lack of enthusiasm for it off the dancefloor. The same can be seen with reggae club nights - your average punter mightn't be an avid follower of reggae at all, but there's always huge turnouts at reggae nights...I can see this happening to dubstep. No bad thing at all I suppose, just an obervation/prophecy. Look at the scene as it stands even now: so young, and it has fucking sky rocketed with amazing success. The amount of continuing innovation is astounding, and with new albums from Burial and Boxcutter soon on their way, it looks like it's going to steadily continue. Brilliant.

Fuck aye, I'll be there with the biggest bells on you've ever seen..though I will also be alone - sacrificing a friends birthday to go to this..ah well..we're not that close!

Aye, so if any fellow dubsteppers fancy a chat, I should be wearing an All Tomorrow's Parties shirt (black/yellow) probably on the dancefloor, drinking the cheap booze and rockin out.

Later!
Matt
