Ketamine is a powerful psychoactive substance; you can't compare it to a substance like crack. Because of it's characteristics, people irresponsibly abuse it and give it a bad reputation - when it comes to psychedelics judge the users, not the drug.

people drink like fish so what? from the perspective of a standard person in the UK they'd be moaning the same way but about how your on pills and such. Its not like you have any authority or judgement of how people want to treat themselves in a party scene.. its all pretty much the same when you look at the perspective that all substances will fuck your body over time.

it's fucking awkward, what, seriously, what is enjoyable about it?

absolute pain in the arse when people take it on nights out, or a house party.

apart from the medicinal use of it, it has the most least enjoyable effect.

I have a massive love hate relationship with ketamine. I'm still fighting addiction from it. I hate it so much at times, at one point I was sniffing 4+ grams of it a day, just because I couldn't stop myself. I ruined my life for quite a while, just got back on the straight and narrow and just doing about 2g a week on the weekends which is amazing for me, I plan to quit fully in the next few weeks. It's brought me alot of good times, but its fucked up so many of my friends. I've had numerous of them go to rehab. I myself was put in hospital from it, destroyed my insides basically. Nasty stuff if you do it regularly.

Whoever said its fucked up the underground scene is correct. Free parties now days are completely over run by zombies. Back in the day everyone used to be rushing around, in love with eachother on MDMA, doing it with eachother just for the fun. Now days its all selfish ketamine vibes, its sad.

Anyways ketamine rant over.

I've not had much experience with Ketamine. When two of my friends took it, one of them conked, and the other was kinda normal, but he just couldn't read the newspaper cos all the words were jumbled up.

b) i never said i did have authority, but that doesn't mean im not allowed to say what i dont like about the party scene?? if you take offence cos you take ketamine and i dont like and say so good

im not tryin to convert anyone - just venting, i know LOADS of people who take ketamine, they can still be my mates but i'll never pretend to like the drug or what it does to people on it cos of that and why should i have to??

c) the standard perspective of a person in the UK doesn't matter cos they aint out on the nights i go to with the people i go with, listening to the music i do in the clubs i go to... thats why im not writing to the Metro news to complain about the state of ketamine abuse, im writing about it on DSF where people like yourself have knowledge and can reply

thank you so much for sayin that man, you summed up exactly what i think and i also think its pretty brave and self assured that as someone who has taken it to extremes and still uses it now you can come out n say that, a lot of people still live in denial about it

it's not addictive man... i just like to do it... a lot...

^^^ pretty much can be said about any drug. yes, even weed... anything that alters your mind can be addictive, period. i'm sober off everything now... only thing i had a real problem with was alcohol, and i go to AA. not trying to say i'm better, but it just annoys me to see my friends who are all in their late 20's or older, still running around drinking like they're 21 and doing drugs 3+ nights a week.
