Turn down that synth lead about half way, throw some real light reverb on it, maybe a phase or flange, add some atmosphere, bring some of the bass up a bit so it registers or add some background bass to get some knock, mix it down and thats an awesome track!

i enjoyed the intro nice reverby atmosphere! heavy when the bass drop but imo i would of taken that guitar/synth riff over the bass out and used that as a hook later in the tune imo just to let the bass breath a little i just feel there is to much going on in there but i think once you clean it up a little and re do a mix down you should have a great filthy tune..keep it up.

i really like the bass part, though i think it could use a better drop =P
i like the intro and i think it would be cool to bring that back at some point
mb add a sub-bass, but that really up to you

other than that, great song mate
The sub hits at 39 HZ so its there and its loud, but you need a decent set up to hear it properly. And where the song fades the intro comes back again, I just have it fade out for time sake, the song is actually 6:15 in its entirety.

thanks alot for the comments!!!
Maybe this is why the mix sounds muddy?? The sub at 39hz could be taking up quite a bit of space in the mix?? Maybe try cutting the basslines and kick at around 3-500hz just to reduce the amount of crossover frequency in that area, which tends to be where alot of the "muddy" sound comes from. Out of curiosity where are the kick and sub peaking at in the mix?

the sub is sitting around 39-41hz and the kick is sitting around 90 - 100hz, but has a lot of energy in the higher end of the spectrum as well around 4 or 5 khz. I am torn as to what I should do with the lead, I am most tempted to leave it because I kinda wanted it to dramatically bring in a more epic feel than the chill almost hospital-ish sounding intro, and with it carrying over it gives the song root notes because the bass only hits one note, with the lead giving it the feeling of note change.

The track kills at around the 2:12 mark \m/. The bass *almost* sounds too distorted though, but it could just be the way it's sitting in the mix, and I think either a cleaner sounding kick or a punchier sample would really compliment the snare and fix some of the muddiness.

I liked it! the smooth progression of the intro into the tasty wob-synths was great, and the organ backing it was very appropriate.

Can't hear much sub bass? Maybe try putting similar LFOs and envelopes on your sub to back your midrange. Also the arp over the top sounds a bit corny... not in its arrangment or note progression but in its sound. Perhaps try to add atmosphere with it, play with some effects or mess with it in whatever synth you're using. The tune has vibe though, good variation of sounds.

some cool shit, would love some 200 hz on the snare though.... actually i think there si some but can't here it too well.... try notching that frequency out of the bass, give the snare some space.

yeah i would drop the lead, that would be banging

I dig this, its dope.

Definitely agree that the drum programming is pretty interesting. Its one thing to make it interesting, its another to hold a groove together. I think you manage to, but I think the flow gets a little confusing later in the track.

I would prefer to hear some percussive elements in the intro too. Its a bit floaty for me... the contrast bewteen that space and the drop is too extreme IMO. I think adding some rhythm to the intro would help.

I agree with this guy ^ I was also thinking, after the drop slow down that lead maybe to half time, portamento and throw some notes an octive lower and higher. That plus some phase and some reverb and Id be in love with the track. I just think the drop isnt as big as it could be with the synthline walking over it. Nahw meen?

Nice work man serious shit.

Have been hearing a lot of "we don't like the lead over the drop/ the synth sound could be more interesting" and being that I take criticisms into mind I will be taking the synth off the drop, doing something to jazz it up, addimg an atmosphere, and fixing the bass drum, will repost asap, but I am in the process of mixdown on a collab with a buddy of mine, so not sure when its will be posted.

This sounds awsome!!! i couldn't hear very much sub, but im not in my studio so im just on regular headphones.... are you sidechain compressing the basslines/subbass and the bassdrum? if not you should, just to get the bassdrum to punch through the mix a bit more, i feel it was getting lost a bit... other than that im looking forward to seeing where this goes! Nice job :D

OK! Ive gotten everything to sit better, and I toyed with atmospheres and I did not care for it in this track, I also toyed around with removing the lead from the drop and it just sounds boring and dull and takes away the note movement of the song because the sub and synth act like a guitar would in a deathcore breakdown and hold out a rythmic set of one note while the lead actually provides the root note changes, but I also felt the lead got a little old, so I have been toying with changing the lead at the drop, adding some more fx to it and doing some interesting filter work on it to keep you all from falling asleep, I may repost it when I am happy with it. Also, new tune coming maybe next week!

That sounds so dope! Biggups! I'd like a even more progressive intro in my opinion.

That riser to the drop blew me away (as did the drop)

Lovin the sounds you're using, keep up the stellar production work!
