Of course infinite respek to Loefah, Skream, Toasty, Darqwan, Kode9/Burial, Spac Hand Luke (yes I know, Luke Vibert isn't the first name one thinks of in the same breath as 'dubstep', but good god there are some sick tunes on his amen andrews vs spac hand luke album that totally fit the bill for half-steppin' narshtiness, 'london' and 'grime ii dark' for example...), Distance, Marlow, Reso, Pinch, Shackleton, Matty G, Bass Clef, etc etc... I tend to get more interested when the productions move beyond the simple steppers riddims (which are great, they've just been reeeaaally prevalent in the genre's early years) and into more sophisticated / sonically varied terrain....

Search & Destroy & Slaughter Mob also deserve nomination for faves of years past, but I didn't feel the latter's releases in the past 12 months & the former have been pretty quiet in that time.....

Remixer of the moment is Kode 9. Can't be touched.

I think it's telling when you are playing dubstep to a new audience the tracks you always draw for are probably the biggest and best. Digital Mystikz, Skream, Benga, Kromestar, Rusko, Reso, Caspa.

But on a percy i like to did deeper and delve into the sounds of Pinch, TesLa Rock, L-Wiz, Parson, MBP, Gravious, Ramadanman, Juju, Burial, Scuba, Vaccine, Cotti & CLuekid, Matty G, Walsh, Toasty, Marlow, Random Trio..blimey i could go on all day.
