Nomad Factory Liquid Bundle II "No-Brainer" Deal

Post by b_lee » Tue Apr 12, 2011 6:43 am

Hi y'all. I found out about this over on the KVRaudio forums. AudioMIDI is having another one of their No-Brainer specials. This time it's a suite of effects by Nomad Factory for $15 USD (originally was $150 USD). It includes a compressor, delay, reverb, chorus/flanger and some other stuff. I didn't jump on this myself as I already have everything I need, so I won't be able to answer any questions about the plugins themselves, but just thought I'd pass on the news if anyone's interested :).

Anybody have experience with these? btw? I have everything I need as well, but for some young buck who is turning up their nose at their daw's native effects, you can't go wrong with just $15 for all these effects. I've bought more expensive single drinks than this....

I can tell you there IS another suite of software effects by Korg that is dirt cheap and pretty damn good - the MDE-X Effects Suite..

http://www.korguser.net/shop/software/

This used to be part of the Korg Legacy Collection, which I own, but now each indivudual items is available separately. The effects suite is $19.95 and has just about everything in there -- reverb, chorus, compressor, distortion, bitcrusher, formant filter, delays and a whole bunch of other stuff.

For questions on the Nomad bundle, come hang out with us on the KVRaudio forums:

I'm sure someone there can help you out. It's a pretty big place. There a nice bunch over there and pretty helpful with any questions you might have.

I bought these and played around with the last days and must say I like them pretty much. The GUI is bit strange to me but especially the chorus/flanger and the phaser thing are fun to use.

I didn't really like the way the GUI looked on those. However, I actually might pick up that MDE collection.
