i went through a phase of really not feeling his stuff, but ive come around to it again quite hard

the thing that i find weird is the way people treat them as 'bangers', when to me they feel like exceptionally fucked, wonky pieces of music, not really that dancefloor mostly

and he is progressing, just very subtly

and to be fair, they sound superficially the same, but theres a lot of attention to detail in there, structurally theyre crazy, and he's constantly playing with new ideas

Claffy aka Red Eye aka Effled has got to be one of my favourite tunes this year, I can bang nuff weights to it.
If I was a pro boxer it would be my intro tune, swear down this tune gets the blood and adrenaline rushing.

Coki has made a lot of tunes using acapellas that sound nothing like his wobblers. Coki has got so many big tunes that haven't come out yet, I personally don't think the sign or bleep were the best choices given his catalogue... Would love to see the end and I swear come out.

Glad that tonnes of people seem to love redeye as that I would go as far as saying is my favourite dubstep tune ever. Could easily imagine coming out with a dressing gown on punching air to that :P

I think pretty much every dubstep dancefloor I've ever been on would beg to differ with that last part :D

I rate your write up, but would you agree that a lot of these tunes are basically variations on the Haunted theme? To me that's the only reason they don't sound totally stunning.. you hear the intro and no matter how hard it drops, you're prepared, cos you've sort of been there before already.

I know what you mean Ben bout some of Coki's tunes soundin similar but he does show some variation in his style e.g Thieves in the Night and his reggae vocal tracks etc. Man's got some proper skills in terms of production and I gotta say most his tunes make me go off in the dance :D

Can't wait for Exodus tonight :D :D :D
